GEN Bangladesh Signs Strategic MoU with BRAC Bank to Strengthen Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Bangladesh today signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BRAC Bank, one of the country’s most prominent entrepreneur-friendly banks, to strengthen Bangladesh’s startup and innovation landscape through collaborative initiatives.

The MoU signing ceremony took place at BRAC Bank’s head office in Dhaka and was attended by key representatives from both organizations. Syed Abdul Momen, AMD and Head of SME at BRAC Bank and K. M. Hasan Ripon, Managing Director of GEN Bangladesh signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organization. Dr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Treasurer of GEN Bangladesh; Md. Kamruzzaman, Head of the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University;

This strategic partnership aims to bridge the gap between startups and finance by promoting access to funding, ecosystem development, and capacity-building initiatives. Both GEN Bangladesh and BRAC Bank will collaborate on national and global platforms including the Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC), and Startup Huddle.
