Bangladesh University and Eastern University won their respective matches of DIU Inter University T20 Cricket Tournament.

Winning Bangladesh University (BU) 

In the 1st match of the day Bangladesh University (BU) defeated Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) by 4 wickets and in the 2nd match Eastern University won by 5 run against International University on Business and Agricultural Technology (IUBAT).
Independent University, Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bat first and collected 179 run losing 6 wickets. Risat and Basit of IUB scored 76 and 48 respectively while Sumon of Bangladesh University (BU) captured 3 wickets spending 28 run. In reply Bangladesh University scored 181 run losing 6 wickets in 19.3 over. Sohel of BU scored 56 not out and Sumon scored 44. Sumon of BU adjudged as the ‘Man of the Match’.

In the 2nd match Eastern University defeated International University on Business and Agricultural Technology (IUBAT) by 5 run. Eastern University won the toss and decided to bat first and collected 78 run in 16.1 over losing all the wickets, Rasel of IUBAT took 4 wickets spending 7 run.
In reply IUBAT could able to collect 73 run losing all the wickets in 20 over. Yeasin of IUBAT scored 29 run. Touhidul and Nazmul of Eastern University took 3 wickets each. Touhidul of Eastern University adjudged as the ‘Man of the Match’
