Honoring Successful Graduates, Fostering Alumni Connections and Recognizing Best Employers "Placement Celebration Day 2026" held at Daffodil International University

In an enthusiastic and festive atmosphere, honoring successful Graduates, fostering alumni connections, and recognizing best employers the "Placement Celebration Day 2026" was held today on September 19, 2026 at Daffodil International University (DIU) organized by the Career Development Centre (CDC) of the university. The core themes of the event were celebrating the professional achievements of successful graduates who secured employment in esteemed domestic and international organizations over the past year, establishing a long-term and robust connection between the university and its alumni, and honoring top-performing recruiting institutions as "Best Employers" for their pioneering role in graduate employment.

Mr. Debdulal Roy, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while special guests included Prof. Dr. M R Kabir, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Md. Mahabubul Karin, Executive Director, Incepta Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar.  Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of the Daffodil Family and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University virtually joined and delivered a video message

The event commenced with the reception and registration of invited job-winner graduates. The opening session began with a welcome speech delivered by the university's Vice-Chancellor. Successful graduates shared their career achievement stories and experiences during the program. Following this a colorful "Grand Rally" featuring participating job-winner graduates. Accompanied by performances from the DIU Cultural Club, the rally started from the Independence Conference Center and concluded at the Knowledge Tower via the central playground and Shaheed Minar. During the rally, DIU Rover Scouts and BNCC provided a Guard of Honor to the alumni.

A unique feature of this year's event was honoring successful graduates as a symbol of eco-friendly awareness and sustainable progress. Breaking away from traditional flower bouquets, graduates were presented with indoor/ornamental plants bearing the message "Wishing You Growth and Success," alongside traditional sashes. This initiative conveyed a strong message of sustainable development and the uninterrupted professional prosperity of the graduates.

The day-long festival concluded with a vibrant cultural presentation on the campus. Daffodil International University consistently celebrates the professional accomplishments of its alumni with utmost respect and remains firmly committed to opening new horizons for its graduates' future.
