Professor Dr. M R Kabir, Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University is inaugurating DMA-DIU Tech Center to familiarize students of Computer Science and Engineering Department of Daffodil International University with the evolving trends in technology and enhance the quality and excellence of practical education. DMA Managing Director Hasan Rahman, Rahim Afroz CEO Kamrul Islam, and Intellier Advisor Md. Shafiqul Islam are next to him.

To familiarize students of the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Daffodil International University with the evolving trends of technology and to enhance the quality and excellence of practical education DMA-DIU Tech Center has been inaugurated at Daffodil International University. The center was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, at the university's Innovation Lab today on August 11 (Monday). The inauguration ceremony was virtually addressed by Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University and DMA Chairman Mahabub Zaman.   

The program was chaired by Professor Dr. Sheikh Rashed Haider Noor, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, and was addressed by DMA Managing Director Hasan Rahman, Rahim Afroz CEO Kamrul Islam, Intellier Advisor Md. Shafiqul Islam, Acting Dean of Faculty of Science and Information Technology Prof. Dr. Bimal Chandra Das, Associate Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Aminul Islam. Later, the guests inaugurated the DMA-DIU Tech Center by cutting the ribbon and cake and inspected the various facilities of the center.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, said that this DMA-DIU Tech Center will serve as a milestone in building bridges between industry and academia and our students will get the opportunity to practice IoT, automation, PCP design, SMP and manufacturing processes. Through this, they will be able to prepare themselves for the local and international job markets. To build a Smart Bangladesh, he urged the students to make proper use of this opportunity and expressed hope that the DMA-DIU Tech Center will serve as a successful initiative and a hub for innovation, research, and entrepreneurship development.
