Daffodil HR organized “Daffodil Lifeline” Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and DIU Blood Donors Club at Daffodil International University (DIU) on Tuesday 22 July 2025.
Daffodil International University reaffirmed its commitment to social responsibility by successfully organizing a large-scale blood donation campaign titled “Daffodil Lifeline — Where Every Drop Sparks Hope”. The initiative was led by Daffodil HR in collaboration with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and the DIU Blood Donors Club as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts.
The event was held at the Student Lounge of the Daffodil Smart City (DSC) Campus, running from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and witnessed overwhelming participation. More than 90 students, respected faculty members, and administrative Officials came forward to donate blood in support of this noble cause.
The camp was officially inaugurated by Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir, Honorable Vice Chancellor of DIU, along with Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Dr. Mohammed Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar, DIU. Their presence and encouragement greatly motivated the participants and volunteers.
Speaking at the inauguration, Professor Dr. M. R. Kabir remarked, “Every drop of blood sparks hope and saves lives. I am proud of our students and employees for stepping forward with such compassion and civic responsibility.”
The “Daffodil Lifeline” campaign not only promoted the importance of voluntary blood donation but also inspired many first-time donors to commit to regular contributions in the future.
Daffodil HR expressed sincere appreciation to all donors, volunteers, and collaborating partners who made the event a meaningful and impactful success.
