Dr. Md. Sabur Khan , Chairman, Daffodil International University at the oath taking ceremony at World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) the Honorable Chairman of WBAF Mr. Baybars Altuntas and Dr. Gjorgje Ivanov, the Honorable President of the Republic of Macedonia.

World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) the largest Angel investor’s forum designated Dr. Md. Sabur Khan as the High-Commissioner for Bangladesh. The announcement and the Oath taking ceremony were held on February 20, 2018 at the WBAF World Congress in Istanbul, Turkey. The Honorable Chairman, of WBAF Mr. Baybars Altuntas introduced 41 High Commissioners from 41 countries to Dr. Gjorgje Ivanov, the Honorable President of the Republic of Macedonia. Among others, the Development Minister of Turkey, the Mayor of Porto City, the Representative of the Hungarian government, the World President of JCI, the Chairman of the Qatar Business Incubation Center, the President of TUBITAK, the President of the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce and the CEO of the SME Finance Forum 250 important players of the world’s equity markets and dignitaries from major angel investments network around the world were also present at the grand event.

 The Honorable Chairman, of WBAF Mr. Baybars Altuntas introduced 41 High Commissioners from 41 countries including Dr. Md. Sabur Khan of Bangladesh to Dr. Gjorgje Ivanov, the Honorable President of the Republic of Macedonia

Through this new position Bangladesh has joined the largest global angel’s forum of the world and will be able to get connected to the Global Angels Network which will open up splendid opportunities for the country.

Dr. Khan has been nominated for this position for his outstanding contribution and effort in developing Entrepreneurs and for his focus in developing the national economy. It may be mentioned here that WBAF selects High Commissioners from each country considering their activities, reputation, contribution, leadership in their national economy. He was also accompanied by the Managing Director of Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited Mr. Golam Monowar Kamal. During these three days events, they participated impact investment Summit, FInTech Summit, CEO-Preneurship Summit.
