The students teaching practicum, a course-work of Introduction to English Language Teaching under the theme "Teaching beyond Lecture", STS-3 was held yesterday at Uttara Campus. Honorable Vice - Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf M Islam was the Chief Guest of the event. Dr. Muhammed Shahriar Haque, Professor, English and Executive Director of EWU Centre for Research and Training also joined the program as the Special Guest along with Professor Dr. A M M Hamidur Rahman, Dean, FHSS, Dr. Md. Mohoshin Reza, Head of the department of English and Ms Rabeya Binte Habib, Course instructor and Senior Lecturer of the Department.

"Employ-ability first" is the motto of our continuous effort of STS-3 following STS-1 & STS-2 held in earlier semesters in order to producing more employable English graduates as many of our graduates immediately enter into teaching profession right after their completion of B.A. (Hons.) where mock-teaching is an important part of selection very often.

Moreover, the event is designed to help build students' interpersonal and necessary soft skills needed for any job prospects they aspire for.
