Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University distributes Eid clothes among the street children at a programme at Daffodil International University organized by the students of Business Administration dept.
The poor and underprivileged children of Dhaka City were treated to their own Eid “Bonus” on Saturday by the students of Business Administration department. They were provided with new dresses for the occasion of Eid ul Fitre. This excellent venture was the culmination of a month-long effort and campaign by the students of Department of Business Administration of Faculty of Business & Economics of Daffodil International University (DIU). This heart-warming event took place on July 11 2015, Saturday at DIU Auditorium. This praiseworthy venture was started at the behest of the student body from the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan; the sole purpose being the “sharing of happiness” of Eid. The students with enthusiastic effort, gathered underprivileged children from different areas of the city and by offering a new Eid dress, sought to bring happiness of Eid.

Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business & Economic, DIU, Mr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Associate Professor & Head of the Department of Business Administration, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of Students’ Affairs, Mr. Mahbub Parvez, Associate professor & Head, Dept. of Tourism and Hospitality Management & Mr. Mohammad Shibli Shahriar, Assistant Professor, Mr. Nurul Mohammad Zayed, Senior Lecturer,Business Administration were also present during the program. .
