Mr. Kazi Ali Reza , Former In-Charge of United Nations Information Center; Dhaka addressing as the chief guest at the 'Journey to UN through Model UN'

Daffodil International University Model United Nations Association (DIUMUNA) along with Office of the Director of Student Affair's and International Affairs of DIU organized a intra university based motivational seminar on 'Journey to UN through Model UN' was held on 29 November 2016 at DIU Banquet Hall.

Mr. Kazi Ali Reza , Former In-Charge of United Nations Information Center; Dhaka was present at the program as Chief Guest while Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Software Engineering of Daffodil International University was presided over the program.

Addressing the chief guest Mr. Kazi Ali Reza said that “Model UN platform is not just for MUNing also it's a platform to utilize the thoughts in many aspects of practical life, though Model UN concepts only works for UN related activities."

There was a presentation regarding Model UN conference which was conducted by Mr. Rafi Reza , an online based MUN trainer & presenter of YouTube channel named WordBytes, Mr. Rokonuzzaman Sojol, Associate Member of United Nations Students and Youth Association of Bangladesh ( UNYSAB) and Engg. Khalid Mahmud Saad, Prominent MUN expert also a member of UNYSAB.

A total of 100 students from different departments of Daffodil International University joined at the seminar.
