Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam Honorable Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University and Mr. Lin Tsong-Ming, President of Nanhua University exchanges Memorandum of Understanding to share the academic opportunities between both the universities
Top management delegation team from Nanhua University, Taiwan visited Daffodil International University (DIU) Bangladesh on 22nd February 2018 with a view of sharing exclusive scholarship opportunities for the students of DIU and signing memorandum of understanding for academic partnership between DIU and Nanhua University. The visiting team was led by Mr. Lin Tsong-Ming, President of Nanhua University including Wu Wann-Yih, Vice President, Prof Chen Bo-Ching, Prof Hung Yao-Ming and Prof Lai Nhsin-Chih of Nanhua University. The delegation conducted a seminar on Scholarship in Taiwan at the 71 Milonayatan of DIU where students from many different departments actively took part with study aboard interest. Lin Tsong-Ming, President of Nanhua University and Wu Wann-Yih, Vice President delivered detailed information of Taiwanese scholarship as well as upcoming opportunities where DIU students can apply and get the chance for exchange programs, Masters Degree as well as PhD.

Prof. Dr. Satyendra Patnaik Rector, KIIT University, India who was one of the key initiator of this new partnership shared his own experience of living in Taiwan as well as the moral goodness of the people of Taiwan to motivate students for study in Taiwan. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam Honorable Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University attended the program and shared ongoing internationalization ideas of DIU among the guests and participants. After the seminar both university signed a Memorandum of Understanding to share the academic opportunities between both universities like summer school, student exchange, faculty exchange, research activities, etc. Nanhua University is one of the top ranked private universities in Taiwan. There are 21 undergraduate departments, 24 master’s programs, and a doctoral program now running in NU.
