With based on the theme “Accelerate Action” for International Women’s Day 2025, Daffodil International University (DIU) observed “International Women's Day 2025” at university campus on 8th March, 2025. This year, DIU celebrates the strength, resilience, and success of women who drive change and inspire progress. Conducted by Ms. Anubhab Rahman, Director, Human Recourse Division of Daffodil International Univrsity, the following distinguished women leaders shared their inspiring life journeys in a panel discussion held at International Conference Hall of the University. The panel discussants were Ms. Shamim Ara Khanom, Head of International Division, Social Islami Bank PLC, Ms. Zarin Kareem, Managing Director, Orion Group, Ms. Alisha Pradha, CEO, HerNet TV, Ms. Razia Sultana, Popular Makeup Artist and Professor Dr. Liza Sharmin, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science.

Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Syed Akter Hossain, Dean, FSIT and Professor Dr. Md. Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship of Daffodil International University also spoke on the occasion. Alarge number of students, faculty members and officials attended the program.
