Dr. Md. Sabur Khan Participates in ACE 2026 Conference and IAUP Board Meeting in Washington, USA

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder & Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University (DIU), participated in the prestigious ACE 2026 Annual Conference held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Washington, D.C.

During the conference, Dr. Khan served as a panel discussant alongside Dr. Fernando León-García, Board Chair of the International Association of University Presidents (IAUP), and Dr. Fanta Aw, CEO of NAFSA: Association of International Educators. The panel discussion focused on global higher education leadership, international collaboration, and the evolving role of universities in fostering cross-border partnerships and innovation.

The session brought together prominent university leaders and policymakers from around the world to explore strategies for strengthening internationalization, student mobility, and institutional resilience in an increasingly complex global landscape.

In addition to his panel participation, Dr. Khan also attended the IAUP Board Meeting held during the ACE Conference in his capacity as Treasurer-Elect of IAUP. His engagement in the Board meeting further reinforces Bangladesh’s growing presence in global higher education governance and leadership.
