DIU strengthen collaborative approaches with 40 foreign universities at 15th AUPF 2016

Ms. Georgina J. Bordado, President, Central Bicol State University of Agriculture, Philippines and Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, BoT, DIU signed the MoU on behalf of respective university at 15th Session of Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) held in Japan.

 

Daffodil International University (DIU) boosted up collaborative approaches with 40 renowned foreign universities and signed 5 bilateral Memorandum of Understandings (MOU) at 15th AUPF 2016 held from October 31st to November 2nd, 2016 at Keio Plaza Hotel, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Japan. With the theme “Bridging Global Diversity in Higher Education in Asia”, this year’s AUPF is hosted by Asia University, Tokyo, Japan.
During the conference, DIU signed agreements with Kanagawa Institute of Technology, Japan; AGH University of Science and Technology, Krakow, Poland, Pan Pacific University, North Philipines, and Central Bicol State University of Agriculture & Mindanao International College of Philippines. These collaborative approaches and agreements aim and form of co-operation on: Exchange students, exchange faculty members, exchange in research and joint publications, twinning programs and Centers of Excellence.
Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Daffodil International University signed the MOU on behalf of DIU. He was also among the parallel session speakers and presented his speech on “Establishing Innovative Collaboration in Higher Education in Asia”. In his vibrant and interactive presentation, Mr. Khan described different dimension and importance of globalization, technology, online education, learning through social media, among other topics. He shared with the audience, how a significant and leading role DIU is playing to adopt new innovations and ideas to standardize the educational strategies.
