Daffodil International University Ranks 1st in Bangladesh and within World's top 100 Sustainable Universities

Daffodil International University (DIU) has earned a place among the world’s top 100 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, in recognition of its outstanding contributions to sustainable development, social impact, and global partnerships.

In this prestigious global ranking, which assesses universities based on their contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), DIU secured the 87th position worldwide among 1,603 universities from across the globe. The university also achieved the highest overall ranking in Bangladesh, outperforming all public and private universities in the country.

This achievement is regarded as a significant international recognition not only for Daffodil International University but also for Bangladesh’s higher education sector.

DIU also achieved an outstanding 4th place globally in SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, highlighting the university’s excellence in fostering international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and global partnerships.
