The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of Summer 2015 semester at Permanent Campus of Daffodil International University was held on June 10, 2015 at Permanent Campus Auditorium. Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest in the orientation program.
Presided over by Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Director of Permanent Campus, the function was addressed by Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Golam Mowla Chowdhury, Controller of Examination and Proctor, Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director (Student Affairs), Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs), Dr. Md. Fayzur Rahman, Head, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mr. Masum Iqbal, Head, Department of Business Administration, Ms. Umme Kulsum, Head, Department of English of Daffodil International University. Earlier the newly enrolled students were welcomed with a rose and tuberose.

Addressing as chief guest, Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Daffodil International University said, DIU is continuously increasing its facilities, services and resources to ensure best possible environment for you. All of its development revolves around our students. He urged the newly enrolled students to make the best use of the resources provided by the university and make them fit to face the challenges of the 21st century.
He also said that Daffodil International University is doing well in all respects. Commitment, transparency and quality of education made the university renowned. DIU provides its students with many facilities to pursue their studies and hone their skills. Urging the students to be an ideal human being he said that three major things - discipline, honesty and quality can make life successful. To be an ideal citizen of the country he advised the students to achieve these virtues.
