Daffodil International University will be Bangladesh's first skill focused university ----- Dr. Md. Sabur Khan

 23^rd Founding Anniversary of Daffodil International University was observed with day long gala events with great enthusiasm and in a colorful manner & festive mood at university campus at Birulia, Savar, Dhaka today on January 25, 2025. To mark the Founding Anniversary day long programs included Colorful Rally,  Cake Cutting, Discussion, Forming Human Logo, Games & Sports, Fun Events and dance performance by the university students based on the theme song of the university. On the occasion of the event, the campus of the university was decorated in vernal decorations. Ignoring the heavy fog of winter, 22,000 students, teachers and officials dressed up in colorful costumes and gathered at the university campus at 9 am.

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest at the program. Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University presided over the program. Conducted by Amit Kumar Mazumder, Deputy Director of Directorate of Student Affairs, the program was attended by Prof. Dr. SM Mahbubul Haque Majumder, Pro Vice Chancellor, Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Syed Akter Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. M. Bellal Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences,  Prof. Dr. Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, Dr. Liza Sharmin, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr. Nadir Bin Ali, Registrar of the university.  All the teachers, students and officials of the university joined the program.

While addressing as the chief guest Dr. Md. Sabur Khan expressed his satisfaction with the continuous development of the university and expressed his high hopes that Daffodil International University will be the first skill focused university in Bangladesh and not a single student of this university will be unemployed. Even if one or two are unemployed, those who become entrepreneurs will ensure their employment. He said, we want to make our students skilled in artificial intelligence and other technologies so that they can lead Bangladesh and the whole world. He said, We are constantly working not only for the whole of the university but we also want to awaken our morals. For the welfare of the students, after the last July-August revolution, the university has given scholarships of 31 crore rupees to the students, which every student has received more or less. 

Dr. Md. Sabur Khan said, with the combined efforts of all, we will prove that Bangladesh will stand high in the world by presenting a wonderful family and a wonderful university. Inshallah there will be no unemployment in our country.

 Daffodil International University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M Lutfar Rahman said, Daffodil International University has maintained a prestigious position in all the indicators of the world ranking and in the coming days this university will go much further. He also said that this university has about 30 thousand students, teaching officers and employees. Immortals are countless in number but collectively we are one and we are all `Daffodillians’.
