Career Development Center of Daffodil International University has taken an initiative to facilitate DIU graduating students to assist a guideline regarding choosing the right major during the time of major declaration, which is commencing from their 8th semester. It was a unique program of CDC comparing other private and public university to facilitate our graduate to choose the right subject as major which will improve and enhance their capacity concerning their career designed specially with the 8thsemester graduates. The program was held on August 20, 2016 at DIU Banquette Hall of Daffodil Tower (DT)-05. 

Honorable Dean of Faculty of Business & Economics (FBE) of Daffodil International University Professor Rafiqul Islam was present in the program as the chief guest. Ms. Sharmin Sultan, Vice President, Training & Development, ROBI Axiata Limited was the keynote speaker of the program. The program was also addressed by Mr. Syed Maruf Reza, Director (CDC), Mr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Head-Department of Business Administration, Mr. Mahabub Parvez, Mr. Jeta Majumdar, Ms. Khadiza Rahman Tanchi and Ms. Fatema Nusrat Chowdhury,
Speakers delivered various ideas regarding the major selection criteria at the time of declaration major of our graduates (commencing from 8th semester). Different tacticks, techniques and strategy regarding major selection process were discuss by them elaboratly. They emphasized on different features regarding career mapping process. There was a unique Theory 10:10:10 was discussed as well which was really great for the participants. They also focused on some points that have the deep influence regarding our student’s career and the prior criteria of starting a good career.

At the begging of the session, Honorable Dean of Faculty of Business & Economics (FBE) of Daffodil International University handed over the Memento of Daffodil International University to the respected corporate guest.
Students were engaged with various quarries in Questions answering session about how to select or chose a proper area as a major which reflect the right perception of each graduates according to their personality.
About 200 graduating students along with some of our mentioned faculty members were participated in the said session. The session was very much interactive and effective for the students and they enjoyed the session very much.
