Mr. Md. Hazrat Ali, Chairman, Bangladesh Small & Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) and Additional Secretary to the Government visited the Permanent Campus of Daffodil International University (DIU) yesterday (August 13, 2016). During his visit Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Project Director, Innovation & Incubation Center (IIC), Mr. N M Zayed, Senior Lecturer, Dept. of Business Administration of DIU and other senior officers of BSCIC and DIU were present there.
Mr. Hazrat Ali addressed there to the students of Daffodil International University. In his speech he asked the students to acquaint themselves not only with the knowledge of text books, but also with the wisdom of nature and justice. He advised them to develop themselves with the commitment to the country as well as the society. He expressed his expectation to the students that they will be capable enough to choose the best and right things among the various alternatives of thinking.
BSCIC Chairman also reviewed the activities under DIU-BSCIC joint programs now being implemented under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between BSCIC and DIU in 2015. He opined that these joint programs will be an unique example of Public- Private Partnership (PPP) model in the country.
