Team members of ‘PediCare’ of Daffodil International University who won the “High Impact Business Idea” and “Best Business Concept ” award in Social Business Creation Competition 2016 met with Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University after winning the award.

Team ‘PediCare’ of Daffodil International University have secured position among the top 5 teams at the 2ndround of Social Business Creation Competition 2016 organized by HEC Montreal (Canada) and Grameen Creative Lab (Germany). Team ‘PediCare’ is going to receive award for “High Impact Business Idea” and “Best Business Concept ” and also a grant of $ 10,000 for being among the top 5 teams at the gala event that is going to be held at HEC Montreal, Canada on 12th September, 2016. Other teams are ‘El negro está de moda’ from Columbia, ‘WOW Foundation’ from India, ‘Campus Family Care’ from Australia and ‘Kanekta’ from Canada.

The competition started with 44 teams from 30 reputed universities representing 16 countries in Asia, America, Europe, Africa and Australia. Team PediCare have won the position of Top 5 in both 1st and 2nd round of this unique competition. PediCare is a Social Business Concept that will address the malnutrition problem in Bangladesh. The team members are Kazi Misu (BBA), Bhaskar Sarkar (CSE),), Faisal Bin Abul Kasem (CSE) and Shamsun Nahar Leepi (CSE).
