A seminar on “Securing Financial Sector in Bangladesh" organized by the Daffodil International University - ISACA Student Group (DIU-ISG) was held on 12 March 2016 at Daffodil International University (DIU) Auditorium. Mr. Md. Nazrul Haider, President of ISACA- Dhaka Chapter of Bangladesh was present at the seminar as the keynote speaker.  ISACA is an independent, nonprofit, global association, which engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems.

Mr. Md. Maruf Hasan, Head of IT & System Audit Department, Premier Bank Limited delivered speech on this burning issue. Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, The Academic Advocate, ISACA & Head of the Department of Software Engineering of DIU presided over the seminar.

The speakers highlighted on the importance of information security issues especially on financial sector in Bangladesh and how to overcome the vulnerabilities by building awareness and using technical knowledge.
