3 daylong international seminar on ‘Entrepreneurship in the 21st Century’ began today on May 14, 2017 at the auditorium-71 of Daffodil International University jointly organized by Career Development Center (CDC) and Jobsbd.com. Dr. Shankar Goenka, Career Coach and Country Head, WOW Factors India Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi, India was the keynote speaker of the seminar. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University inaugurated the seminar as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present as Special Guest. Ms. Shelly Sharma, Associate Trainer, WOW Factors India Pvt. Ltd also spoke in the seminar. 

Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, DIU, Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business & Economics (FBE), Professor A. M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman , Director of Students' Affairs, Professor Dr. Farid A. Sobhani, Director, HRDI, Mr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal, Head, Dept of Business Administration, Mr. Mahbub Parvez, Head, Dept of Tourism & Hospitality Management, and Mr. Syed Maruf Reza, Head, Dept of Entrepreneurship were also present at the inaugural ceremony of the seminar. Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Director, Career Development Center (CDC) conducted the seminar.
While delivering the keynote presentation Dr. Shankar Goenka said that Entrepreneurship is not a science, not an art but a practice. To continue this practice you have to emphasis on communication, negotiation and inner-confidence. As an entrepreneur you have to work hard with positive mindset. If you can do this you will be success.
