Participants of 2-Day long Training of Trainers on "Research Methodology: Structural Equation Model"held at DIU
Institutional Quality Assurance Cell of Daffodil International University organized a 2-Day long Training of Trainers on "Research Methodology: Structural Equation Model" during 10-11 November, 2016 at its own premises. The training was arranged for the research-minded faculties of Daffodil International University to use Structural Equation Model in their research papers properly so that their research is accepted in the internationally recognized journals.
The ToT was facilitated by Mr. Mohammad Tohidul Islam Miya, Additional Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), United International University (UIU) and experienced researcher of the country. Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, Daffodil International University chaired the program.
The Resource Person highlighted various aspects of Structural Equation Model in practicing the same in the real researches by the faculty members of DIU. The issues are: Multivariate Data Analysis & Exploratory Factor Analysis; Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) & Confirmatory Factor Analysis; Testing Structural Equation Models and Sample Article Analysis; Developing conceptual framework for a research project based on SEM; For factor analysis: IBM SPSS Statistics 22; For path analysis: IBM SPSS Amos etc. About twenty five faculty members and researchers of different department and IQAC officials of DIU actively took part in the 2-day training program. The participants were provided with a certificate as recognition of their effective participation. IQAC will organize another ToT on “Experience Sharing on Structural Equation Model Practice” on November 24, 2016.
