Administrative and Non Academic Employees along with distinguished guestsat the day-long workshop on Human Resource Management
Institutional Quality Assurance Cell of Daffodil International Universityorganized a day-long workshop on Human Resource Management for Administrative and Non Academic Employees on 26 November, 2016 at its own premises. Professor Dr. Aminul Islam, Emeritus Professor and Former Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University inaugurated the workshop and session chair was Professor Dr. Muhamamd Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC.
Professor Dr. Durgadas Bhattacherjee, Honorary Professor, University of Dhaka and Professor Dr. Mahbub Ahsan Khan, Additional Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell, University of Dhaka graced the workshop as Special Guests.Mr. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Former Director, Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIM) made the keynote presentation on Organizational Communications and Standard Protocol.
The workshop had some other training sessions where Ms. Farhana Ferdousi (PhD Thesis Submitted, Macquarie University, Australia) East West University briefly presented the Experience of a Foreign University regarding Administrative support for Quality Assurance of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and Mr. Md. Mamun-Ur-Rashid Askari, Assistant Chief, Bangladesh Tariff Commission, GoB highlighted the Office Management and General Administration. About fifty administrative and non-academic officials of Daffodil International University actively took part in the workshop.
Mr. CM Koyes Sami, Former Managing Director, Probashi Kallyan Bank graced the closing session of the workshop as Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. FazlulHoque, Registrar, Daffodil International University and Professor Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC, DIU were present as Special Guests. Dr. Wajuppa Tossa, Associate Professor, Mahasarakham University, Thailand were also present in the workshop as Guests of Honor.And session chair was Professor Dr. Muhamamd Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC. At the end of the closing session, all the participants were provided with a certificate as recognition of their participation in the workshop.
