Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University is speaking at the inaugural ceremony of the as the Chief Guest.
A week-long training course on Travel & Tour Management jointly organized by Small and Cottage Industries Training Institute (SCITI) of BSCIC and Daffodil International University (DIU) has been started on November 20, 2016. Participants from all over the country as well as from public and private sector organizations are taking part in this course. The course was formally inaugurated by Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University as the Chief Guest.

Mr.Md. Sabur Khan asked the participants of the training course to explore new areas of tourism products as well as uncultivated spots and locations which may attract the local and international tourists. He also stressed upon new operational technique and methodology of dealing the tourist of new generation. He expressed his sincere commitment to extend all sorts of possible support by Daffodil International University to the probable entrepreneurs among the participants of the training course. He asked the participants to avail the entrepreneurial support services and assistance provided by different Departments and Centres of Daffodil International University like Department of Entrepreneurship, Business Incubator, Bangladesh Venture Capital Limited (BVL), Incubation Hub, Innovation & Incubation Centre (IIC) etc.
Among others the inaugural program was also addressed by Mr. Abu Taher Khan, Project Director, Innovation& Incubation Centre (IIC) of DIU. The inaugural program was preceded over by Mr. Md. Abdul Wadud, Principal, SCITI, BSCIC, Ministry of Industries.
About 40 participants from different professional organization and individual are taking part in the training course. The teachers of the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management of Dhaka University and Daffodil International University and other senior level expert and professionals of different public and private sector organizations are working as the resource person in the training course. Therefore, it is expected that the outcome of the training course will be able to attain an international standard.
The concluding certificate distribution ceremony will be held on November 26, 2016 where Hon. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam PhD will remain present as the Chief Guest.
