Dr. Seiichi Shiga, Professor, Department of Mechanical Science and Technology of Gunma University in Japan is demonstrating a multi media presentation during his visit to Daffodil International University
Dr. Seiichi Shiga, Professor, Department of Mechanical Science and Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology of Gunma University, Japan is now in a visit to Daffodil International University in Bangladesh from 10th to 13th November 2016. As part of his visiting agenda he set for a meeting with the top management of Daffodil International University on November 12, 2016 at Chairman’s Conference Room of the university. The meeting was presided over by the honorable Pro VC of the University Prof. Dr. S. M. Mahbub Ul- Haque Majumder. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ismail Mustafa, Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Professor Dr. Engineer A. K. M. Fazalul Hoque, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director (International Affairs), Prof. Dr. Syed Akter Hossain, Head, Department of CSE, Prof. Dr. Md. Mahabubul Haque, Head, Department of Textile Engineering, Prof. Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of ETE, Dr. Touhid Bhuyan, Head, Department of Software Engineering, Dr. Md. Shajahan, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Public Health, Dr. A B M Kamal Pasha, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of ESDM,Mr. Md. Dara Abdus Satter, Assistant Professor & Associate Head, Department of EEE and other high officials.
The objective of his visit is to find possible way for collaboration. Prof. Dr. Seiichi Shiga made a presentation on Gunma University. In the meeting both university discussed regarding possible sides of mutual cooperation like student exchange program, PHD degree, research collaboration, organizing workshops, joint journal publishing etc. Both the university expressed their hope to sign a MoU.
Prof. Dr. Seiichi Shiga was accompanied by his wife. After the meeting, Prof. Seiichi visited different campus and labs of Daffodil International University and expressed his great satisfaction with infrastructure and green environment of permanent campus.
