An immense contingent of 20 students and a faculty member of Daffodil International University (DIU) left for China on 9 November 2016 to attend SIAS Winter Camp-2016 at SIAS International University, Zhengzhou, China. The Program will start today on 10 November, 2016 and will continue up to 24 November, 2016 at the beautiful campus of SIAS. The SIAS Winter Camp is a joint initiative of SIAS and DIU to share the learning and cross cultural experiences among the students of both university and thus DIU students will represent Bangladesh through their active participation in this two weeks program. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice-Chancellor of Daffodil International University congratulated the students before departing for the program.
Within these two weeks of time, DIU students will complete credit-based compact course of Chinese language and Culture which will comprises knowledge in the area of Chinese Martial Arts, Chinese Painting, Chinese Character, Paper Cutting and so on. Beside their study at SIAS International University, China students will discover some historical and famous places like Shaolin Temple, Chrysanthemum Flower Show, Longting Park Kaifeng, Hometown of Yellow Emperor, etc. Participating students from DIU will experience a highly international environment, allowing them to learn directly about the diverse history, culture and heritage of China.
