Parents-Students-Teachers all together are jointly rendering national anthem at inaugural ceremony of the Orientation Program of Fall Semester-2016 for the fresher’s enrolled at permanent campus of Daffodil International University.
The orientation program for the newly enrolled undergraduate students of Fall-2016 semester of Daffodil International University was held today on October 29, 2016, at Permanent Campus Auditorium of the university. The program started with hoisting the national flag and DIU flag and rendering national anthem by the students, parents and guardians in the large green field of the university conducted by Mr. Anuz Kumar Chakrabarty, Senior Lecturer of Natural Science Department and Convener, DIU Cultural Club.

Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest at the orientation program. Prof. Dr. Yousuf M Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University presided over the program. Conducted by Syed Mizanur Rahman Raju, Director ( Student Affairs) of the university, the function was also addressed by Professor Dr. S M Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. A M M Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Prof. Dr. Engr. A . K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Professor Dr. Golam Maowla Choudhury, Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Director (Permanent Campus),Prof. Dr. Syed Akter Hossain, Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Md. Golam Sarwar, Guardian, Ms. Mukta Basu, Giardian and newcomer student Rima Akter.

Addressing as the chief guest Mr. Md. Sabur Khan said that, Daffodil International University is trying to build the students in such a way so that they can contribute to build prosperous Bangladesh He urged the students to be obedient and loyal to their parents at any cost at any stage of their life and he stressed that only the triangular relationship and strong bonding of Parents-Students-Teachers can play the vital role to build a prospective career for a students. Daffodil International University is working seriously to improve this triangular relationship.

Later on distinguished guests, parents and guardians along with the students visited the stalls of different projects showcased by the students. At last a gala cultural program was held performed by the students of the university
