Mr. Kaushik Sarker, Senior Lecturer, Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Science and Information Technology, Daffodil International University, has successfully completed his training in Japan. The training program has been funded by Daffodil International University and it took place in Toyohashi, Aichi, Japan for 17 days from September 7 to September 23, 2016. It was conducted and facilitated by Mr. Takayoshi Suzuki, Representative of Oriental System and Visiting Professor, Daffodil International University. Along with the training Mr. Kaushik Sarker has visited Suzuki and Toyota industrial museums and Toyota and Shinkansen (Bullet Train) factories to observe their systems and functionalities. He returned with the five sets of modules, a laptop along with other necessary equipments donated by Mr. Takayoshi Suzuki and Oriental System for the students of daffodil international University. With this training and equipments, Daffodil International University wants to launch new courses in its departments of Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science and IT in a vision to produce engineers to fit emerging demands from the industries both in local and international markets.
