Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain and Ms. Sabiha Matin at Barnsley University, UK during their visit
Dr. Md. Bellal Hossain; Prof. and Head of Nutrition and Food Engineering Department and Ms. Sabiha Matin, Lecturer of Department of Business Administration, Daffodil International University visited the United Kingdom for the purpose of visiting the following organizations City & Guilds (London), TVET UK Institutes, National Skills academy for Food & Drinks, NPTC Group, Barnsley College, Peterborough College, and some agri firms.
This visit was part of the INSPIRED Grant Scheme project activity. The objectives were to allow TVET professionals from Bangladesh to form relationships with UK TVET organizations and gain knowledge on up-to-date training methods and the curriculum of courses. There was an emphasis on the food processing industry of which BAPA is the major Business Organization here in Bangladesh.
TVET UK was facilitating a scoping visit by Bangladeshi educationalists in support of a European Union project. Four more delegates from the government of Bangladesh have also visited as a part of the group.
Dr. Bellal Hossain and Ms. Sabiha Matin had been chosen as being of a level in their career where there is most to be gained as individuals, and importantly for Bangladesh, by them participating in this visit.
