Department of Business Administration of Daffodil International University organized a workshop on ‘Financial Statement Analysis: Banking Sector in Bangladesh Perspective’ for the students of Accounting and Finance in BBA program on 7th August, 2016 at Banquet Hall,Sobhanbag Campus, DIU Tower-5 (Level-8), The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Saddam Hussen Mallik, Analyst, Financial Institutions Group, Commercial Banking, HSBC. Honorable Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics attended the program as session chair. The entire program has been glorified by some of the Faculty Members of Business Administration.
Professor Rafiqul Islam,Honorable Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics has expressed his gratitude to the Speaker & got the session very much interactive. He also said that this was really a worthy session acquiring more knowledge about financial Statement analysis. The keynote speaker on his speech expressed and highlighted the importance of Financial Statement Analysis, components of Financial Statement.Howdeposit & Loans can affect owner’s equity he also discussed. Risks of bank, CAMELS & BREXIT etc. issue were also discussed by the speaker. Nearly 150 students were present on the aforesaid event to have a keen knowledge and idea about how banks can analyze their financial statement & their implications.
