A seminar entitled "Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) : Prospects and Issues" was held on August 06 , 2016 in DIU Auditorium organized by department of EEE of Daffodil International University. Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam was present as the Chief Guest at the semiar. The keynote speaker of the seminar was Engr. Md. Ali Zulquarnain, Chairman, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC).

Shamsul Alam, Professor, Department of EEE & Dean, Faculty of Engineering, DIU, The seminar was presided by Professor Dr. Pran Kanai Saha, Head, Department of EEE of DIU.
