Department of Multimedia and Creative Technology (MCT) of Daffodil International University (DIU) celebrated its 4th Foundation Day through a 2 day long program on August 01and 2nd August 2016 in a festive mood at DIU auditorium. The main objective of this two-day long program was to review and highlight students' quality course outcomes created under several core courses and acquaint students with the demand of the relevant job market as well as the latest technologies used especially in multimedia sector. Professor Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU inaugurated the Foundation Day celebration ceremony as the Chief Guest while Professor Dr. S.M. Mahbub Ul Haque Majumder, Dean, Faculty of Science and Information Technology (FSIT), Professor A. M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science, Mr. Mohammed Shamsul Hoque, Associate Professor, Department of English were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
Studentsof the department of MCT along with Honorable Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf M. Islam and other distinguished guests at the opening ceremony of 2 day long Foundation Day Celebration program.
The two-day long program was encompass industry stalls, student stalls, exhibition of course outcomes of the students, competitions, prize distributions, scholarships for outstanding academic performance, guests' and visitors' perceptions and comments, cultural programs etc.
Students of MCT department set up 10 stalls and exhibited their products and services with different ideas and latest technology. Their intention was to boost up linkage with the industry, visitors and guests with the activities of the industries and present and future demand of the job market including use of the latest technologies worldwide.

Exhibition of course outcomes of our students will be an important attraction of the foundation day program. It is mandatory for our teachers and students to create and submit (digital) course outcomes in terms of achievement and quality education, for example, 3D animations, 3D modeling, visual effects, video productions, game development, mobile applications etc. Best work of the students will be recognized by giving awards to the students.
