The 2-Day long training program for faculty members of Daffodil International University under TOT including Pedagogy, OBTL, Effective Class Management, Teaching-Learning, Research & Extension, Student Assessment and Engagement was organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) recently at DIU premises. Prof. Dr. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed, Head, Quality Assurance Unit, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh was present as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the program. Dr. Vichayanan Rattanawiboonsom, Associate Dean, Graduate School, Naresuan University, Thailand was present as special Guest. Prof. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Ph.D, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), DIU presided over the program. The function was also addressed by Professor Dr. Bholanath Dutta Founder & President, MTC Global, India. The guests applauded the initiative of IQAC, DIU in arranging such an important ToT program for faculty members of DIU which they believe will help in capacity building of the teachers and ensuring quality education.

Prof. Dr. Mesbah Uddin Ahmed described that to familiarize trainers with the content of the training module and enable them to launch a student centric higher educational system. He expressed that afterwards through getting this training faculties will be equipped to be able to make and/or modify a Teaching-learning design most appropriate for the target group in their class room. Thus, they should be able to improve the acceptability and adoption rates of improved student centric class room engagement system at the Daffodil International University.
At the end of the closing ceremony, the participants were awarded with a certificate as recognition of their participation and contribution to the 2-day long training program.
Earlier Professor S M Kabir, Ph.D, Department of Marketing, Rajshahi University inaugurated the inaugural session of the training program as Chief Guest while Professor Dr. M. Burhan Uddin, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh was present as Special Guest. Professor Dr. Bholanath Dutta, Founder & President, MTC Global, India was the key Resource Person of the program. The session was chaired by Prof. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Ph.D, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), DIU.
