Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Daffodil International University (DIU) organized a workshop on “Self Assessment Activities and Possibility of Accreditation” on July 18, 2016 at university conference room. Prof. Anisul M. Islam, Ph.D, University of Houston Downtown, USA graced the workshop as the Chief Guest while Mr. Hamidul Haque Khan, Vice Chancellor (in-charge) of Daffodil International University was present as Special Guest. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Daffodil International University (DIU) chaired the workshop.
The participants from self-assessment departments of DIU briefed the session regarding the progress of self assessment activities of their respective departments. The guests and participants highlighted the importance of international and national accreditation of departments. They also appreciated and advised the university to go for the accreditation of AACSB-International and abet accreditation.
Department Heads of different departments along with other faculty members and IQAC officials were also present at the workshop.
