The Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University, Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam handed over the award certificates to the awardees on June 14, 2016. Professor Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, the Registrar of Daffodil International University and Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director of Students’ Affairs were also present during the handover session.
Student and son Ayub Khan was awarded for his noteworthy performance in responding to his father’s needs and his father Mr. Abu Bakar Khan is honored with the award for his noteworthy performance inculcating good values in his son.
Ayub’s father Mr. Abu Bakar is a farmer and bears Ayub’s educational expenses even after leading a life of great hardship. Ayub told their story during the Parent’s Day celebration of the Art of Living course. His father was also present there. After revealing his struggle the Honorable Chairman Mr. Md. Sabur Khan and Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam decided to honor them with the Vice Chancellor’s Appreciation Award.
