Prof. Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, distributing prizes among the winners at the 13th Founding Anniversary of ETE Department of Daffodil International University.
13th Foundation Anniversary of Electronics and Telecommunication Department of Daffodil International University celebrated in a befitting manner on Thursday June 16, 2016 at DIU Auditorium. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor , Daffodil International University was present as the Chief Guest while Founder Vice Chancellor Emeritus Professor Dr. Aminul Islam and Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering were the special guests in the program. Professor Dr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Head, Department of ETE presided over the program. .
Founder Vice Chancellor and Emeritus Professor Dr. Aminul Islam inaugurated the day long program by cutting the ribbon. Professor Dr. M. Shamsul Alam, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Professor Dr. Golam Maowla Chowdhury, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar and faculty members of ETE department were present at that time.
Students are demonstrating a project towards the visitors
The day long program included Debate Competition, Tele-quiz Competition, Wall- Magazine Showcase and Project Exhibition. Engr. Altaf Hossain, Founder Chair, IEEE Communication Society, Bangladesh Chapter was present as Keynote Speaker in the closing and prize giving ceremony. Different pretty gifts were distributed among winners in different events. Two alumnus Ali Akbar khan and Md. Shamim Ahmed, President, ETE Alumni Association also gave their motivational speech to the students. Finally a Seminar Talk on Art of Living in Islam was conducted by Mufti Mahmud -ul- Hasan, Imam and Khatib, Dormitory Jamme Masjid.
