The students of 21st century should know the ins and outs of assembling relationships and Daffodil International University wants to provide the environment friendly curriculum where they could easily discuss about their individual, social, physical issues to build them conscious considering the real life challenges.
DIU held an enhanced academic discussion session on Saturday, June 11, 2016 on “Sex, Marriage and Relationship” under the content of ‘Parents, Life and Living’ from the reference book Art of Living, developed by Mr. Md. Sabur Khan and Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman for the course ‘Engineering Ethics and Art of Living’. The session was conducted by an expert fellow in public health, Dr. Nusrat Sharmin, organized by the students of EEE (Evening) and supervised & conducted by Nujhat Afrin, senior lecturer, department of English. The entire program had cordially been facilitated by the DSA office of Daffodil International University and followed by Iftar session in this month of Ramadan.
The program was addressed among others by Professor A.M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science, Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Coordinator of Art of Living Course and Director (Student Affairs), Ms. Shamsi Ara Huda, Assistant Professor and Head, Ms. Liza Sharmin, Assistant Professor, Department of English and Mr. Md. Dara Abdus Satter, Assistant Professor & Associate Head, Dean, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering were present at the program.
