Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Director, Permannet Campus hands over the‘Man of the Match’ to Saad of Daffodil International University
Daffodil International University (DIU) has moved to the final of “DIU Inter University T20 Cricket Tournament 2016”.Today on June 2, 2016 in the 2nd Semi-Final match Daffodil International University defeated City University by 87 run. Daffodil International University won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 216 run in the stipulated 20 over. On behalf of Daffodil International University Monir scored 66, Saad 45 and Raju 36 run. Sajjad of City University took 3 wickets spending 35 run. In reply City University collected 129 lossing all the wickets in 19.3 over. Rubel of City University scored highest 67 run. Saad of Daffodil International University took 4 wickets spending 17 and adjudged as the ‘Man of the Match’.
The final match of the tournament will be held on tomorrow on June 03, 2016 at 10.00am at DIU Permanent Campus at Ashulia. Dr. Shri Biren Sikder, Honorable State Minister, Ministry of Youth and Sports will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Former Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket Team and Selector of Bangladesh Cricket Board will be present as the special guest in the program.
