Every citizen has the right to get information and it is possible to ensure accountability in every sector through ensuring the right to get proper information. To create awareness among the students about this issue Information Commission of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Daffodil International University jointly organized a views exchange program on “An Orientation Program on Right to Information Act” on May 26, 2016 at DIU Auditorium.
Professor Dr. Md. Golam Rahman, Chief Information Commissioner and Former Pro-Vice Chancellor of Daffodil International University was present at the program as Chief Guest while Professor Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Vice Chancellor of DIU was also present at the program as Guest of Honor.
Mr. Sadar Uddin Ahmed, Secretary, Information Commission and Dr. Najmul Hossain, Country Representative, FNF were present at the program as special guests. Around 330 students of different department of Daffodil International University attended the program.
