Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI) conducted another session of training on “ SPSS and Writing Articles for Journal’ from May 5-18, 2016. The training was facilitated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Yousuf M. Islam, Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Head & Associate Professor, Dept of Software Engineering, Dr. Md. Kamrul Hossain, Asst. Professor (Statistics) and Ms. Tajmary Mahfuz, Sr. Lecturer (Statistics).
The training program is designed to understand the uses of SPSS as a tool along with other aspects of research to summarize and aid in the interpretation of research findings. Ultimate goal of the training program is to publish a manuscript developed by individual initiative of the young faculty members in a journal. Twenty five participants from DIU, BUET and DU are taking part in this program.
The training program ended on May 18, 2016. Mr. Feroz Mahmud, Director, HRDI, Dr. Touhid Bhuiyan, Head & Associate Professor, Dept of Software Engineering and Dr. Md. Kamrul Hossain, Asst. Professor (Statistics) were present in the closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants.
