Ms. Saptaparna Roy, International Expert in pedagogy from India delivering her speech as resource person at the workshop on “Pedagogy in Theory & Practice” jointly organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Department of English of Daffodil International University.
Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Department of English of Daffodil International University (DIU) jointly organized a workshop on “Pedagogy in Theory & Practice” on April 24, 2016 at DIU auditorium. Professor A.M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities & Social Science of DIU was present in the workshop as Chief Guest while Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC of DIU was present as the Special Guest. The Resource Person of the workshop was Ms. Saptaparna Roy, International expert in pedagogy, India. Ms. Umme Kulsum, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of English, DIU chaired the workshop.
The resource person in her presentation put emphasis on the issues like: English Pedagogy, 400 years of Shakespeare, Gender biasness in Mahashmeta Debi's Novel, Curriculum for better learning, Graphics model, Model for English literature etc.
Guests of the workshop also underscored the need for implementing the English pedagogy in real practice. Among others, Syed Mizanur Rahman, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Journalism & Mass Communication, Professor Dr. Shusil Kumar Das, Dr. Binoy Barman, Associate Professor of Department of English and some other faculty members of Business Administration, Journalism & Mass Communication, Department of English, Law Department of Daffodil International University were present in the workshop.
