Department of Pharmacy of Daffodil International University organized a seminar on “Introducing Prophetic Medicine in the Public Health Sector of Bangladesh” today 2016 at DIU Auditorium. Dr. Muhammad Musharraf Hussain, Founder President, National Foundation of Prophetic Medicine was the Keynote speaker and illuminated the audience in the light of several verses from the Holy Quran and Hadith. The audience was captivated by the thought provoking insightful references of those divine books of Islam. The awe inspiring compliances between “Prophetic Medicine” and Modern Medicine enthralled the audience. Professor Dr. Yousuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Daffodil International University was present as the chief guest of the seminar. The resourceful discussion of Mr. Md. Aminul Islam, Deputy Director, Production, Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh, consummated the session.
Presided over by Professor Dr. Ahmad Ismail Mustafa, Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, the seminar was also addressed by Emeritus Professors Dr. Aminul Islam and Emeritus Professor Dr M. Lutfor Rahman, Professor Dr. S.M. Abdur Rahman, Advisor of the department and Mr. Ferdous Khan, Head of the department.
The presence and participation of the learned guests made the program more impressive and elegant. Their erudite instructional speech inspired the whole audience and their lively discourse and questions full of wisdom made the program more interesting. Faculty members, administrative personnel and students of the department were overwhelmed by knowing the nexus between Islam and Science.
