Ms. Shamsi Ara Huda, Assistant Professor, Department of English and ELT expert Professor Claire Bradin Siskin representing the DIU LiveCode team in TESOL Developers’ Showcase on 6th April, 2016. 

Ms. Shamsi Ara Huda, Assistant Professor, Department of English has been selected to participate in the U.S. department of States’s 2016 English Access Microscholarship Program’s Teacher Trainer Workshop occurring from March 26- April 8, Baltimore, U.S.A. She along with the ELT expert Professor Claire Bradin Siskin represented the DIU LiveCode team in TESOL Developers’ Showcase on 6th April, 2016.It was a live webcast. In this session, they demonstrated their newly developed English language learning app ‘brimEng’ designed for android mobile phones.  Ms. Shamsi Ara Huda will also represent Bangladesh in a session of exchange participants titled; ‘Technology in English’ on 8th April, 2016.Ms.Huda has been selected for this Microscholarship Program from the region of Asia for her demonstrated interest in professional development and extra -ordinary leadership skills. The other participants of her team are from Turkey, South Africa and Iraq. This time, 25 participants from 25 different countries all over the world have been selected to celebrate TESOL's  50th Anniversary.
