Department of English and Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Daffodil International University jointly arranged a workshop titled “Self -assessment and Improvement Plan and Peer Review Process” on 13th March, 2016 to facilitate the teachers and management of the university to enhance their responsibility and commitment for better education and its holistic improvement. The session speaker and resource person was eminent Education Consultant Dr. Habibur Rahman. Among the other dignitaries Professor Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Professor A. M. M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, DIU were present on the occasion.
The whole session was conducted by Madam Umme Kulsum, Head of the Department of English. Moreover, most of the teachers of the Department of English attended the seminar. The session was a fruitful one as some key issues have directly been pointed out to maintain the quality of a university which will work as a guideline for future development of DIU teachers and experts opined.
