“Let’s Help Girls Achieve their Ambitions” with this slogan, as a token of gratitude to all the women all over the world, Daffodil International University has celebrated the Women’s Day 2016. To salute womanhood the Department of Law organized a special program at the Banquet Hall of the Daffodil International University, on the occasion of 8th March, 2016, International Women’s Day. The seminar was designed to motivate the female students and recognize the female cricket team of the Department of Law, Daffodil International University.
The Emeritus Professor Dr. Aminul Islam was the Chief Guest in the program while Advocate Sanaiyya Ansari, Human Rights Activist, Gender Specialist and Regional Council Member of the Asia Pacific Forum on Women, Law and Development was the Guest of Honor. Professor A.M.M. Hamidur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Ms Umme Kulsum, Head, Department of English and Mrs. Parveen, a successful mother were special guests of the program. The program was chaired by Madam Farhana Helal Mehtab, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Law.
