Department of Business Administration of Daffodil International University became champion in the Daffodil Premier League 1st Women’s Cricket Tournament 2016 held on 13 February 2016 at DIU permanent campus cricket ground. The final match was held BBA Department vs Department of Law. BBA Department won the toss and chooses to field first. They collected 69 runs 8 wickets in stipulated 10 over’s as opposed to Department of Law collected 68 runs 10 wicket in stipulated 10 over’s. Maghla of Department of Law adjudged as Man of the Match as she got 4 wickets spending 5 runs in 4 over’s.

This is for the first time Daffodil International University organized cricket tournament for women cricketers and 4 departmental teams English (Wing Club), Law (Win Star), Computer Science and Engineering (Avenger) and Business Administration ( Daffodils Dare Angel) took part in the tournament.
