Workshop entitled "Re Innovating Social Entrepreneurship & Leadership" held at Banquet Hall of Daffodil International University on December 19, 2015. Re Innovating Social Entrepreneurship & Leadership is 3 hours long workshop on social entrepreneurship and leadership aimed at encourage Bangladeshi university students and youths to contribute their knowledge and expertise to solve big scale social problems around them through social entrepreneurship and provide an international level learning experience on social entrepreneurship. The program was organized by Social Business Students Forum (SBSF), supported by School for Social Entrepreneurship, GP Accelerator and Drink Entrepreneurs Dhaka.
The program inaugurated by the panel discussion entitled Scope for Social Business. The panel was moderated by Mr. Masud Ibn Rahman, Associate Professor & Head of Social Business Cell, DIU. Other panelists were Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economic, DIU, Mr. Arha Chakraborty, President DYDF and Mr. Titus van der Spek, social business consultant, co-authored Leadership in Social Business, University of Essex, UK.
Later on Mr. Asraful Alam, Vice President of SBSF presented SBSF update through multimedia presentation. Later on the presentation Mr. Titus van der Spek conducted the workshop through several sessions.
In a session titled what is Social Business? Mr. Titus discussed the concept of social business and explain how this is different from a non-profit organization and a commercial business.

In a session entitled Leadership in Social Business, Mr. Titus explained the three levels of social business leadership and help participants understand the challenges that social entrepreneurs face. How can they be better prepared?
Later on a presentation session on GP Accelerator presented by Mr. Ahmed Tanvir Sajib ,Program Coordinator, GP Accelerator.
In a session named Learning from real social business leaders, Mr. Kamruzzaman, Coordinator, SBEP Project and Lecturer, Department of Business Administration, DIU presented social business case studies. In the session he explained the case study of two Grameen social businesses (Grameen Danone and Grameen Inteel Social Business Ltd.) and two Youth Social Business Initiative by DIU students (OrganiCo Green Business & Social Business Exposure Program).
The program came to end by the concluding remark of Mr. Md. Masum Iqbal, Associate Professor and Head of Business Administration, DIU. Participants from different educational institute both home and abroad were participated the program with huge enthusiasm.
