Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University was present as guest of honor while Former National Football Player Abdul Gaffar was present as the special guest.

Addressing as the chief guest Ashrafuddin Ahmed Chunnu said, Sports is a part and parcel of Education and sportsmanship spirit accelerate and make easier the way of gaining knowledge and wisdom of a student. He hoped that this tournament will be continued regularly from nowand through this tournament players like Salauddin, Salam Morshedy Aslam and many other nationally renowned players will come out. He also said, there is no alternate of sports to save the young generation of the country from drugs and social abuse.

Sabur Khan said, Daffodil International University said, From the very beginning Daffodil International University giving highest emphasis on sports besides education and we are trying to build up the university as a sports oriented university and for that all sorts of sports facilities including play ground, Gymnasium, Swimming Poll, Golf Court, Basketball ground, Tennis Court have been setting up gradually. By this time DIU students have proved their success recods in SAF Games, Bangladesh Olympic and many other national and international events.

Thirteen Private University teams, split into four groups will take part in the five- day meet from November 24-28, 2015. Participating teams are East West University, Daffodil International University Bangladesh University of Business and Technology, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology, Brac University, South East University, Independent University, City University, International University of Business Agriculture and Technology Shanto Marian University of Creative Technology, Eastern University, United International University and University of Liberal Arts.
