Umpires along with players at the opening of the tournament
Inter Campus Basketball Tournament of Daffodil International University completed today at DIU Permanent Campus Basketball ground. Four teams took part in the tournament. Participating teams are: Main Campus-Red became Champion, Main Campus-Green, Uttara Campus and Permanent Campus. In the final match Main Campus-Red became Champion defeating Man Campus Green by 13-11 score. Uttara Campus won the 3rd position in the tournament.

Early in the morning Mr. ABM Kamal Pasha, Deputy Registrar inaugurated the tournament as the chief guest. Mr. Kazi Diljeb Kabir, Assistant Director was also present at the inaugural ceremony. Mr. Islam Uddin, Physical Instructor (Games and Sports) conducted the tournament.
From the Tournament a core Basket Ball team of Daffodil International University consists of 16 players was formed which, after an intensive practice, will took part in the 31st Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (31st AUAP) Inter-university Basketball competition from 19 to 22 January-2016 which will be held in Taiwan.
