Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University delivering presentation at the workshop on “Entrepreneurship Management Education in the perspective of Bangladesh” held today at DIU.
Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Daffodil International University organized a workshop on “Entrepreneurship Management Education in the perspective of Bangladesh” today on October 19, 2015 at Banquet Hall of Daffodil International University. Md. Sabur Khan, Founder & Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University has graced the occasion as resource person and gave the concept paper.
In his speech, Md, Sabur Khan addressed the evolving issue of entrepreneurial management education in the country. He told that Entrepreneurship education can play an important role in shaping the cultural mindset towards becoming entrepreneur, enhance entrepreneurial attitudes and educate with skills for solving venture related diverse problems. Mentioning the initiative of DIU in the development of entrepreneurship in Bangladesh, he said that DIU has already launched Bachelor of Entrepreneurship of 4 years program which is the first of its kind in Bangladesh and he emphasized that there will be no compromise with quality higher education.

Golam Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Professor Mahbub Alam Majumder, Faculty of Science and Engineering, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, Director, IQAC, Prof. Dr. Fokray Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC, Syed Maruf Reza,head, Dept. of Entrepreneurship of also spoke on this occasion. Among others, Professor Rafiqul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Haque, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Golam Malwa Chowdhury, Controller of Examinations, Prof. Dr. Shahid Uddin Ahmed, Adviser, Entrepreneurship Department, Masum Iqbal, Head, Dept. of Business Administration and high officials were present in the program.

Students of various departments of DIU around two hundred students participated in the program of IQAC. The workshop mainly focused the theme of development of entrepreneurial education in developing country like Bangladesh.
